Food Drive Needs Your Help
The annual food drive to benefit the Hatteras Island food pantry has begun.
Items in demand include peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce,
pancake mix, cooking oil, flour, sugar, salt and pepper and canned meats
as well as personal care items such as deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo,
shaving cream, soap and detergent. If you would like to contribute, drop
off your donations at Hatteras Realty in Avon or Hatteras Village or Our
Lady of the Seas Catholic Church in Buxton. Monetary donations are also
gratefully accepted; make them payable to United Methodist Men and mail
them to Hatteras Island Food Pantry, P.O. Box 1591, Buxton NC 27920.
Bluegrass Variety Show in Frisco
Red Drum Pottery hosts the Frisco Jubilee many Friday nights at 8 p.m.
The musical variety show includes performers such as The Diamond Shoals
Band, Coyote, Martin & Friends and Martin Garrish. Tickets are $10
